Three Sights to See on Your Miami WaveRunner Tour

Our beloved city of Miami wouldn’t be the same without the sun, sand, and sea! However, there’s more to this city than just the beach, and there’s so many attractions for families in Miami. Here are three sights to see on our Miami WaveRunner Tours!

Experience the Iconic Fontainebleau Hotel

Luxurious and rich in history, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a hotel right next to the ocean on Collins Avenue.

One of the most famous sights to see in Miami, this hotel is architecturally gorgeous and sits in the heart of Millionaire’s Row. The Fontainebleau Miami Beach combines a modern, luxurious feel with the glamor of Miami’s golden era—no wonder it’s considered a landmark by tourists and locals alike!

For over half a century,  Morris Lapidus’ emblematic curvilinear building has set a new standard for business and pleasure. Enjoy this 22-acre oceanfront Miami Beach hotel with its two high-profile nightlife venues, a two-story spa, award-winning restaurants, endless pools, and miles of pristine beach and state-of-the-art conference and event facilities.

On your WaveRunner Tours, this location features our signature jet ski experience, as well as banana boats, kayaks, and paddleboards!

Stroll Through Lummus Park

If you’re looking for something a bit different, take a stroll through Lummus Park on your WaveRunner Tours. This 5.9-acre urban park sits right in the Historic District of Miami, Florida, which is just west of the Downtown area.

In fact, Lummus Park opened over a century ago in 1909 as one of Miami’s first open, green spaces. Because of this park, developers began building more sights around the park, so much so that on October 25, 2006, the park and the buildings on its northern boundary were added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places as Lummus Park Historic District. Lummus Park is one of the many attractions for families in Miami who are looking to learn more about the history and culture of our city. The western area of the park contains two more historic buildings that are part of Miami’s pioneer history.

These include the William Wagner House, which dates back to 1857, and the only remaining limestone structure of Fort Dallas, dating back to 1836. Visit this historical, hotspot tourist attraction on your WaveRunner Tours and have fun jet skiing, paddle boarding, and riding banana boats!

Visit the New and Improved Loews Hotel

Another historical landmark of Miami, the Loews Hotel is situated in the heart of South Beach’s historic Art Deco District and was recently renovated to an sophisticated, oceanfront resort.

With an upgrade of 790 luxury guest rooms, a vibrant new lobby experience, new and improved poolscape with private adult-only cabanas, a state-of-the art Kids Club and more, you and your family will have the experience of a lifetime at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.

This sight also offers restaurants with famous local dishes, such as the Lure Fishbar restaurant. Sitting seaside, you can order fresh seafood such as shellfish, with large platters of assorted shucked oysters from both the west coast and the east coast.

Lure Fishbar also offers lobster from Maine and fresh stone crabs from Florida when in season. Don’t forget to enjoy the sushi bar for over 15 types of sashimi and a selection of handcrafted sushi rolls. If seafood isn’t your thing, there are still plenty of delicious options for you! Try the award-winning “Bash Style” burger, our roasted organic chicken, or prime New York strip loin.
